Rapid vaccination rollout

We’re delighted to say that vaccines have now been offered to all residents and staff, after a rapid rollout of the vaccination programme in our homes.

This is an important milestone to have reached and we would like to thank our GP’s, community nurses and those within our local communities for their support in facilitating the rollout of vaccinations for our residents & staff.

We must also give our thanks to the remarkable scientists, dedicated volunteers and those within the NHS for their monumental efforts in helping to deliver a safe and effective vaccine.

Whilst COVID restrictions remain in place across the county, including for those who have been vaccinated, this really feels like a step forward to helping our residents and their families begin to return to normality.

Our main priority continues to be the safety of our residents and colleagues, but all our homes are now open for much-needed contact visits for residents & their loved ones.

We’re also organising trips outside the homes where possible and safe to do so; we’re hopeful for a good summer so we can start to enjoy being outdoors again. It really has been a long time coming.

We look forward to continuing to increase visiting in our homes over the coming weeks and months.

We must however remain vigilant and continue to prioritise the safety of our residents and staff. Our regular testing regime will remain in place for staff and residents, as will our enhanced cleaning routines across all our homes. We will also continue to monitor guidance from the Government and adjust our policies and procedures accordingly.

We will of course keep residents and relatives fully informed of any significant changes in our policies and procedures.

Please get in touch with your local home if you have any questions or wish to discuss this further.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
