It’s been another busy month at Inwood House and so pleasing to see all of the lovely activities taking place, there are more events planned in the run up to Christmas so look out for further information on these.

Please check out the homes Facebook page where you will be able to see all of the fun they are having:

As we head into the winter months we want to ensure that we keep everyone as safe as possible and would ask you all to ensure that you are testing before entering the care home and wearing PPE provided to you.

There is new government legislation that comes into force on the 11th November stating that anyone working in a care home must have had both vaccinations, we also have to gather evidence of vaccination status for any other visitors to the care home apart from anyone visiting one of our residents.  Whilst is not a legal requirement to ask you as a visitor of a resident for this information but if you are happy to provide this we would only need to see a COVID Pass, by gathering this information it helps us manage any potential infection risk in our care home.

We are always happy to receive your feedback so please let us know how we are doing, you can contact the home directly or myself

Many Thanks

Nikki Ayliff, Operations Manager

Staff and Residents all enjoyed the Halloween themed party and staff came dressed for the occasion.

Fanfare Music Lessons

You are never too old to learn a new skill and everyone loves music. Joyce has been playing the fiddle since she was a little girl in school and hasn’t played in a long time.  A few residents enjoyed learning the piano, Edward the tutor was pleased how well the sessions went and is looking forward to coming again soon.

Employee of the Month – A special mention goes too…

A massive well done to Jacqueline, who is our employee of the month for October

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. From all the team at Inwood House.

Welcome to Inwood

We would also like to offer a huge warm welcome to our new residents…
