We’re delighted to be supporting Circus Starr as their “Supporter of the Week”.

We’re proud to be part of the local community and helping others who need our support is what we do.

See below some further information about Circus Starr and the amazing work they do.

For 35 years we have been sharing the magical art of circus with those who need it most, and we’re excited to continue our valuable work.  After a tough couple of years we know that our accessible and inclusive event is a much needed safe space to unite members of your community who may feel more isolated than ever.

For 35 years we have toured around the UK with our unique event, a Circus show that can be enjoyed by every child.

Yes, that’s right, every child. As you know at Circus Starr it doesn’t matter if a child has a disability, additional learning needs or comes from a disadvantaged background, they are welcome to come and have fun at one of our performances.

We work hard to help those with profound and multiple learning difficulties feel comfortable attending our shows through The Circus Starr Sensory Story.

Our shows are accessible and inclusive. This means that we create an environment where families can come along and be themselves, whether it means dancing and shouting out or taking time out if they need to.

After the difficulties that everyone has faced in the past couple of years we know that an event like ours is needed now more than ever.

With your support we can continue our valuable work and make a difference to children in your community, children like Alfie.

Alfie had never been to a circus before as he has Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia which means he often struggles with new experiences. But his mum Leigh told us how their visit to Circus Starr was different to other family trips.

‘’I can honestly say that we all felt relaxed, at ease and included! The way that you have catered for kids with difficulties is commendable.

Everyone there had an additional need in one way one way or another which added to the feeling of inclusion and acceptance. That’s something money can’t buy, and you guys are doing such an amazing thing, and helping makes children’s lives more enjoyable and accessible.’’

The show is taking place on June 6th at Silcocks Fun Fair Site, Daisy Nook Country Park, Failsworth, Manchester, M35 9WJ.
