Welcome to our latest edition of the Walton Manor Newsletter! It’s been a busy few months filled with laughter, community spirit, and plenty of sunshine. In this issue, we’re taking a look back at our wonderful Summer Gala — the highlight of the season — along with our Macmillan Coffee Morning, summer trips and activities, and some of the special moments we’ve shared with our lovely residents.

Highlights from This Quarter
Our residents have truly made the most of the summer months, enjoying a wonderful variety of outings and experiences together. From evenings out for dinner and dancing to leisurely scenic drives and visits to our favourite local cafés, there’s been no shortage of laughter and smiles along the way. We also had a very special visit from Waffle, the mini Shetland pony, who brought endless joy and affection to everyone at the home — his gentle nature and cheeky personality made him an instant favourite! These experiences have given everyone the chance to reconnect with the community, reminisce about familiar places, and discover new ones too. It’s been especially lovely to see residents supporting one another — sharing stories, building friendships, and gaining confidence with every outing. Each visit and activity has created its own special memories, and we’re so proud of how much joy and togetherness they’ve brought to everyone at the home.
